Since 2008, Donovan's has been bringing people together over great food, cold pints, live music, and genuine hospitality. What began as a neighborhood pub has grown into a beloved gathering place built on hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to community.
From Survival to Success.
Donovan's story took a turning point when Kristin Dougherty stepped in during one of the restaurant's most challenging chapters. What started behind the bar eventually became ownership, as she purchased the business in 2017 with the support of her family.
Alongside her son, Jareb, who returned home after pursuing basketball, they rebuilt the restaurant together, learning every aspect of the business and creating a place that reflects their values of hospitality, resilience, and community.

Long before Donovan's became a neighborhood favorite, family recipes were being shared around kitchen tables and passed down through generations. Today, that tradition lives on through the homemade pies and desserts lovingly made by Becky, the family's grandmother.
